It happens every time. The Body Shop beckons me inside and I end up walking out with a new scented Body Butter. Not that I’m complaining. I smell great. To boot, this time it was in the sale too. Yeah baby! Not only that but they were doing cute, ribboned gift bags containing matching shower gels. The moisturiser alone was £5 and the duo was £8. A deal not to be missed. “Why the hell not!” I screamed… internally. Being a lover of fruity scents, the punchy papaya flavour was my butter of choice. Next to these in the sale section was this Ginger Sparkle hand lotion. Perfect to be placed in the bathroom for guests. It has a strong, sweet ginger scent and adds a little glisten to the skin. Only £3! Then there was the Vitamin E Overnight Serum-In-Oil, one of those that wasn’t in the sale but a product that is the toast of the bloggersphere at the moment. Rightly so too. It’s inexpensive at £12 and Vitamin E is amazing for the skin. A bargain considering some high end serums are around the £50 mark. All in all I’m a very happy lady, although, there’s always something else from the Body Shop that I want… like the Honey Bronzer. Must… resist!
In other news, for the first time today I switched from auto to manual mode on my Canon Powershot S110. Aperture, ISO, shutter speed… the mind boggles. Pinterest has been my main source for photography tips and tricks. I have been eyeing up a big boy DSLR for a while now (specifically the Canon 70D… *drool*) and I am determined to be prepared for when that day comes. Otherwise I’ll spend the bucks but be too darn scared to use it. What do you think? Is the image quality acceptable? Is it in focus? This is terrifying!
Anyway, back to the haul. Have you checked out The Body Shop’s summer sale? What have you got your eye on?
