Already being a fan of Green People, the sight of their product when I opened Day Fourteen filled me with joy. To boot it was another makeup product! I was welcomed with the Anti-Age Eyeliner in City Grey. I can’t comment on the anti-ageing properties as to me it sounds more like a gimmick than a game changer, it does contain Vitamin E but I just can’t comprehend how an eyeliner could turn back the clock. However, as a plain and simple eyeliner it is lovely. The pencil is soft, blendable and glides on smoothly due to the Jojoba oil and Shea butter present. The colour isn’t usually something I would go for. I’m either a jet black or a subtle brown kind of gal but it’s always nice to change things up a bit. My thoughts instantly went to using the eyeliner well blended on the lid to create a subtle, smokey eye. This is perfect for anyone who is sensitive to eyeliner pencils as it won’t irritate the waterline, it being 100% natural. As for lasting power, after being on my arm for half and hour and pushing it to test for smudging it didn’t budge. A couple of hours later, due to my sleeves rubbing against it the product had faded ever so slightly, but unless you’re constantly rubbing your eyelid the line should stay solid. Overall I’m very happy and can’t wait to pair this with the Inika Mineral Eyeshadow in Gun Metal from Day Ten.
Green People’s Anti-Age Eyeliner retails for £10.95.
