Is everyone still feeling festive? I am, and there’s nothing I like more than a nosy present post. This Christmas was a good one too. Lots of cookery bits and bobs. Nothing makes an amateur cook happier than a new cookery book. My first gift was Jamie Oliver’s Save With Jamie. It’s packed full of juicy tips, tricks and delicious recipes. I recommend getting it if you’re wanting to save money on food. All about cooking a Sunday roast (who can resist?) then using the leftovers in a combination of unique recipes throughout the week. Can’t wait to give this bad boy a go. Next on the cookery agenda was the Masterclass Masterchopper, which I specifically asked for. There’s nothing better than something that can chop an onion in less than 5 seconds. My cooking pet peeve. You push the top and get pumping. Great for the arms. Then there was the Meri Meri Noel & Peace Bakery Tin. This would make any baker feel blessed. It’s delightfully festive and includes an apron, icing bag with nozzles and over 100 big and mini cupcake cases in an assortment of colourful designs. You can see my first iced cupcake attempt on Instagram. Over the last year I’ve turned to loving headbands. It’s such a effortlessly cool look, especially if you pair it with a high messy bun. Knowing this, my sister gifted me this vintage inspired floral headband from Forever 21. I sense an HOTD coming on to showcase what I mean. Now to the one I know you’re all interested in. The NARS Blush in Sin. Having wanted this for a long time, I was delighted when it showed up under the tree. There’s something extra special about getting a gift you couldn’t justify buying yourself. This is a lovely berry toned blush with gold shimmer. Quite unusual but it looks perfectly autumnal on the cheek. Can’t wait to do a full post on it. Along with these I was gifted this cheeky monochrome mug and an assorted box of Cadbury’s chocolate to keep the Christmas tradition of gorging going. A lot.
What I really want to know is, what did you get? Please link me to your Christmas present posts. I’d love to have a nose!
