So this is the kind of thing I’d like to put up – Make up tutorials, new make up and the like! I brought the new MUA eyeshadow palettes in ‘Pastels’ and ‘Heaven & Earth’, for the bargain price of £4 each at Superdrug! They’re super pigmented and have a very creamy texture, similar to those of MAC or Urban Decay. The only con is that they create a lot of fall out, but this is easily avoided by using a good primer and using make up remover to clean it up afterwards.
Now onto my first experiment with them! I wanted to try a pop of colour so went for blue. I wasn’t sure how good it would look with green eyes but I think it turned out nicely. Not sure if you can really see the blue in the picture, is a bit overpowered by the white but I like it. 🙂 Also when I added a brown crease colour it merged with the blue creating a really pretty taupe purple colour (who knew!).
I then used my MAC Dip Down cream liner, smudged into the lash line and then used the sample Benefit Bad Gal Lash mascara I got it with Glamour magazine last month. I think I will be buying the full size when it runs out as I really like it (Just what they wanted I suspect!).
I paired it with quite subtle look. With the cheeks I kept the rest simple with Nars Deep Throat (I know…) and my creme brule flavoured Vaseline on the lips. It tastes delicious!
I think this is going to be my go to palette from now on!
Let me know if you’ve enjoyed this post and I’ll do more. 🙂
